This narrative is a continuation of The Drummer series. It chronicles a guidance counselor's day to day struggles of working in a hostile environment, created by a group of rogue administrators. This story highlights how school principals allow workplace abuse and are not held accountable for their own wrongdoing. As the main character tries to do her job, she is constantly confronted with unnecessary mountains to climb. What example is she setting for her children? Will this job affect her emotional well being? How will this drummer survive?
