This book is designed to help Mentally Ill persons who have been committed to in-patient treatment style psychiatric hospitals avoid being re-committed to in-patient settings. It is also meant to be used as a tool to help guide group therapy sessions in the in-patient setting. It is designed to be small enough to be a 'pocket book' so Mentally ill persons can easily carry it with them and always have it available for review. It deliberately avoids the use of medical jargon and is written in simple, plain language.
