Schwieter is an Associate Professor of Spanish and Linguistics, and the Director of the Psycholinguistics and Language Acquisition Research Laboratory at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He is also the general editor of the new Bilingual Processing and Acquisition scholarly book series (John Benjamins Publishing). Dr Aline Ferreira is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Psychology, and the Associate Director of the Psycholinguistics and Language Acquisition Research Laboratory at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
