In Earth's Spacetime, Micah mirrors Joshua Logan, who is finally able to tell his story. Joshua does his best to start at the beginning, telling Dr. Lewis of his life... In the early years, Joshua has a few strange things happen, but is never aware that he is delusional. As time passes, catastrophic things happen in his life to bring him to understand that he is psychotic on multiple levels. He is never completely sure what has been "real," in the conventional sense, and what was merely a delusion; he's simply telling his story the way he has lived it.
