The Dead Man's Spouse is the second story in the Detective Ann Morgan Series. One need not have read the others in order to enjoy this episode. It is heavy with sex and intrigue. A seemingly common accident turns out to have been murder. Who would want to harm popular and mild mannered professor Harry Wilhelm? The paper trail leads in many directions and another recent widow surfaces. The similarity between the two deaths seems more than a coincidence.-Even though Ann has committed herself to chemistry prof John Klement, she cannot help having an attraction to basketball coach Mark Simmons.
