Notă biografică
Dave Knifton currently works as a lead global data architect for a major blue-chip multinational. He has a passion for data architecture and has gained extensive experience of it from a wide range of business sectors across the globe in over 30 years. His professional life has included many varied milestones including, modelling military aircraft to check their stability and keep them in the sky, setting up and managing Oracle Education Australia, founding several dynamic Oracle consultancies, spinning up successful online ventures, delivering centres of excellence for a number of clients and coarchitecting a major Australian commercial bank's award-winning online capability from scratch. He is also a passionate educator and has delivered technical and business training for thousands of students through Oracle, its partners and tailored workshops for his own consultancies' clients. In the last few years, he has also developed data architecture course material for US and UK based Universities. A few years ago, he started to write a popular series of books on data architecture and you might find these two are useful companions to this book.
