On his way into the Stygian Mountains to determine the source of the demons that have begun to overrun his lands, Prince Tristan of Saxet finds himself at the end of a nearly fatal battle with a perilous foe. Tristan soon discovers that what he thought was to be a simply journey, quickly evolves into a much longer and infinitely more menacing quest. This new course leads him not only to save his lands of Saxet, but also preventing the world of Dalgara from being beset by an ancient and malignant villain. Tristan's travels are fraught with danger and excitement as he encounters mystical creatures, battles vicious demons, and uncovers archaic forgotten lore involving the history of his beloved Dalgara.
