In 1973, when David, a 12-year old boy is killed by the racist father of his 12-year old friend in Mobile, Alabama, his lost spirit refuses to cross over by walking into the light until he finds justice and receives a proper burial. To make that happens he haunts 12-year old Alex years later with his family.
