A powerful organization seems determined to purchase a unique coffee shop named The Corner Seat. A staff member exacerbates the problems facing the coffee shop by sabotage and industrial action. When the owner refuses to sell it even at a hugely inflated price, she receives threats that end in two murders An unlikely private investigator named The Lost Hope Agency, who claims to offer nothing except his uselessness reluctantly agrees to attempt to find out who is so bent on acquiring the premises of The Corner Shop at any price.
