After surviving a near deadly attack by a group of anarchists called the Onyxites, eighteen-year-old Petra Fields develops telekinetic abilities that categorize her as a Black Star-superpowered individuals meant to protect humanity. To keep her family safe, she must learn to control these powers, along with other abilities that soon begin to emerge.
