The Butterfly Weed Patch is an educational, non-fiction children's book. It follows the life cycle of a monarch butterfly and its larval/nectar host plant the butterfly weed through prose and pictures making it fun and educational. The book contains photographs of the real life transformation of monarch caterpillars into a monarch butterfly, as well as, the growth of the butterfly weed from seed to full grown plant.
