Set in the beautiful hidden world of West Dorset in Southern England where crime usually amounts to a stolen bike. The small market town of Bridport renowned for the infamous hangman's noose is disturbed by a series of teenage suicides. As more deaths are uncovered freelance writer Nick seems to be more involved than he imagined. As he is questioned by the local police he is forced to reflect on his own troubled and traumatic early years in a children's home.
