Brooklyn and Derek are enjoying the final days of their honeymoon in Paris, browsing the book stalls along the Seine where Brooklyn finds the perfect gift for Derek: a first edition James Bond novel. The couple bump into Ned, an old friend from Derek's spy days, who tells them to show the book to a spy shop back home in San Francisco. The owner of the shop begs Derek to let him display the book in the window for the shop's anniversary celebration. Soon after, Ned is found murdered in Paris, and someone is killed inside the shop. Are the murders connected to the rare, pricey book?
