The Amalfi Coast, Italy, 2006:Valentina and Arturo grew up together in Falerio, and Valentina has loved her childhood friend for as long as she can remember. Arturo is a safe haven; the person she turns to when her father's violent temper erupts. Arturo resolves to do some travelling before settling down, and so he leaves Valentina, departing for the UK in search of adventure. Drawn to the boat-building community of Lyme Regis, he meets free-spirited Freya, whose passion is restoring vintage fabrics. The instant spark and connection between them leads to love.
