The Berry Patch Kids is part of a series of books for the beginning reader. There are three stories in the book. Each story uses sight words in a manner which allows a beginner to have moments of independent reading. These books were written with the author's youngest children in mind especially as one of them has struggled to "crack the code" for reading.
