What is reality? What makes something good or bad? What is the meaning of life? In the 1960's an alienated adolescent attempts to answer these questions with the help of Albert Hofmann's "problem child," LSD. In doing so he is transformed. He awakens to a new universe in which he finds both meaning and a strong sense of connection.
