Seventy-five years after catastrophic fires drove a remnant of humans underground, a decision is made to send three young adults outside the protective sanctuary. Charged with a tremendous task, the chosen ones must navigate a world which is astonishingly mysterious, beautiful beyond their wildest dreams, and more dangerous than anything they could have imagined. Now, they must determine whether unseen forces are working against them or if the tangled journey is simply unraveling the truth.
