Tashka to the Rescue is written for children ages 7-9. The book tells how a grandfather helps his grandson overcome prejudice by telling him a story about Tashka. The book introduces 5 Choctaw words in the story and includes an explanation of "Degree of Indian Blood" at the end of the book.
