Taped Up
Autor Anya Birchen Limba Engleză Paperback – 29 oct 2026
For four years, Lani Park has been in love with her best friend. She has never said a word.
It's easy not to, most days. She and Sam Rivera are a good team: the coach and the trainer, the two people who keep a women's soccer program running. Lani knows how to want quietly. She's gotten very good at it.
And then, one ordinary afternoon, Sam looks up and sees her, and four years rearrange themselves in a single breath.
What they have is too good to risk and too real to ignore. They've only just found their way to each other when the season turns hard: a player under fire, a community deciding what it's willing to fight for, an institution that would rather they both stayed quiet.
The wanting was the easy part. Now they find out what it means to be brave together.

Notă biografică
Anya Birch is the pen name for two married queer women writing sapphic literary romance from the Pacific Northwest. They came to fiction from academic careers because fiction could hold what scholarship couldn't. They live with their two kids and one snuggly dog. They have been meaning to get the garden going for several years now.
