Yowl is a literate tabby kitten who learns to read while curled on his owner Lucy's lap.
When he spots newspaper reports of a criminal targeting cats in Croydon, he rallies an unlikely alliance of neighbourhood creatures, foxes, a squirrel, pigeons and an owl, to investigate. But when the police close the case and pin the blame on the foxes, the animal detectives must work together to identify and stop the real killer themselves. Charming, humorous and full of heart, Tails is an adventure about bravery, friendship and cooperation across differences, for animal-loving readers of all ages.
