This monograph analyses issues of systems theory of borders and transborder processes, in particular system-methodological facilitation their interdisciplinar¿ research. It explores the systemic quality of transborder phenomena as well as their functioning and development. It puts forward an algorithm for the use of system information about borders for the substantial improvement of modern transborder processes' governance, in particular on the new Eastern border of the European Union. This algorithm is developed with the benefit of the author's personal experience in governmental structures and the diplomatic service. The monograph is intended for scientists, teachers/lecturers and university students, as well as civil servants and anyone who is interested in international relations.
