Michele Di Salvo is an Italian researcher, author, and expert operating at the dynamic intersection of neuroscience, psychology, law, and artificial intelligence. With a career spanning scientific research, clinical theory, and policy analysis, he is recognized for his interdisciplinary approach to understanding the human mind and its interaction with emerging technologies.
He currently is Research Coordinator at ENIA - National Agency for Artificial Intelligence Foundation - and is the Director of the journal NeuralNexus. He is an active member of leading international scientific societies, including the Society for Neuroscience (SfN), the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS), the International Neuropsychoanalysis Society (NPSA), and the Cognitive Neuroscience Society (CNS), International Neuroethics Society (INS) and Italian Society of Economic Sociology (SISEC). Descriere
This book offers a critical, multidisciplinary exploration of neuropsychiatric and developmental disorders. The volume opens with a theoretical framework drawing on Foucault, Szasz, and Basaglia, problematizing psychiatric diagnosis as a potential technology of normalization and epistemic injustice.
