Sven in Kunming

Separated by continents, two men's lives are forever linked by what at first appears to be the apparent murder of a women in a hotel room in China.Sven, a cooperate scientist based in China, is quickly picked up and arrested by the authorities for the woman's murder, and whilst held in custody, suffers injuries that will last him a lifetime.The dead woman's ex-husband, Andrew, believes that her death may in fact have been due to suicide, but is unable to alert the authorities in time.As the years pass we follow both men as they deal with the aftermath, each in their own unique ways, and how their families play a role in their eventual catharsis.
