It's been one decade since River Redstone collapsed. And the questions that surround the city's demise have left Sunny and Aurian stuck in the Yjoulai wilderness without answers. With no one else alive except a friendly cyborg named Berkeley, the pair finally get the call they've been waiting for: something in the city is awake. But the journey to find answers comes with a catch. To find the truth, they must face the past they've been hidden from, even if it means they lose themselves.
Artistically inspired by trauma therapy, Suncatchers explores grief and polarity through the lenses of time travel, familial bonds, technology, and spiritual awakening. It posits the questions: who can we become when fully healed, and what does it take to get there? Whether personal, familial, or within community, Suncatchers explores the dual nature of being human.
