The Adamasees tribe inhabit an underground world of ice and are threatened with extinction but seem unwilling to help themselves. Following a vision from the heroine's great-grandfather, Eisiat goes against all the customs and laws of the ancient tribe in the hope of saving it from itself, poor health and bounty hunters. Follow the young girl, her pet wolf Miko and new friend Mattie, from the world 'up-top', while she risks everything to change the future for the Adamasees.
