Stella is making up for lost time. She's a newly single mother in her early thirties. She's never really dated and the apps didn't really exist last time she was single. Her ex has her daughter every Thursday night so she's free one night a week to work her way through every dating archetype she missed out on in her twenties.

There's the Gentleman for dinner dates. The Poet for deep conversation. And someone her friends are calling the Hummingbird (he's full of energy) but who Lou quietly thinks of as more of a Labrador.

Dom starts out as the No Strings Attached Guy. He's not looking for a girlfriend and he's tired of disappointing women who want him to settle down so he's completely up front about it. But Lou doesn't jump into bed with him and Dom soon becomes The Friend instead, spending time with her and her daughter whenever she's not on a date.

Stella is so busy not looking for love on Thursday nights, that she's at risk of missing love when it comes knocking on another day of the week.
