When I was diagnosed, I wanted so desperately to know that there were other young people who were like me. This was especially true when I was an adolescent. I looked for any information about mental illness, but only found books about adults with mental illness. So I began to write. It was more about providing support to other young people out there who might want to know that there is hope. This book is for them, and for their families.
