The Recovery model has been proven to make patient wards safer and show strategies that protect vulnerable patients when being discharged, whilst it demonstrates how all parts of our health service can develop using the recovery initiatives in this book, including GPs, doctors, nurses and other staff throughout our wonderful NHS. It discusses peer support aims and goals and how education plays a key role in assisting those patients in recovery to live better, more meaningful lives.
