A natural disaster in the heart of Africa cuts short the budding romance of a wildlife photographer and his female apprentice. Due to their proximity to the catastrophe, the two are forced to become photojournalists, and they soon discover that one man is responsible for intentionally causing the devastation. Cut off from outside communication, they alone must track the mysterious man across two continents and uncover the truth about his elaborate plan.
