Unconventional warfare operations reference strategic and operational stealth methods for survival and battlefield success.

This book, like its predecessor - Special Reconnaissance and Advanced Small Unit Patrolling - should become the bible on Partisan/Guerilla operations. Organized and written in a terse military style, somewhat like a military Field Manual, this will be the ultimate reference on the subject of unconventional warfare.

The book will explore mission areas at both the operational and strategic level in enemy dominated areas of operation, focusing on stealth for survival and battlefield success. The book will also include historical references and first-person narratives to analyze successes and failures. Similarly structured to this first book, the proposed book will also draw from Lessons-Learned and TTPs derived from operations conducted by the legendary Military Advisory Command Vietnam - Studies and Operations Group (MACV-SOG). These operations entail Direct Action (including Target Acquisition, Sabotage, Ambush, Raid, Interdiction/Area Denial, Prisoner of War Snatch Operations, Downed Aircrews Rescue, Psychological Warfare methods and materials and other high-risk tasks.
