A boy awakens to find he has no memory or knowledge of who he is, or where he came from. He attempts to find his way in the world, while learning about his place within it. At the same time, a bounty hunter sets out on a quest to capture an item of great power for the Lord of the House of the Whispering Skull. Along the way he questions his place in the world, and the task that has been set before him. Both journeys will cause them to question their honor, and force them to choose a side in the conflict that is to come.
