Where the finest wines flow and the shadows conceal secrets, Hunter Grey and FBI Agent Susan Gladford become entwined in a cat-and-mouse game. The scene is set when an up-and-coming Sommelier, Morgan Woodrow's path, crosses a serial killer whose affections towards her come in the gift of murder on her behalf. After witnessing a killing first hand, Morgan flees to California in hopes of getting a fresh start away from her troubled past. Hunter Grey wants to believe Morgan's motives until Susan and himself are drawn into a gruesome murder, where Morgan is the prime suspect, and everyone has ulterior motives.
