A lovingly illustrated story about facing the spooky monsters that live in all of our imaginations. Join our young protagonist on a journey of bravery and curiosity as we face our fears together!
A creak in the house... a flicker of light... a smell in the air that just isn't right.
This is the story of one child's journey as he learns to confront the strange and scary monsters he believes are lurking around his home. With each eerie encounter, readers are reminded of what it was like to be a kid; when odd sensations could send our imaginations running wild! Together, we'll face our fears and discover whether the creatures are real, or just living inside our heads.
Created and designed for primary school children, the book follows a playful and consistent structure. Our main character:

1. Experiences Something Strange through each of his five senses (Hearing, Touch, Taste, Sight, Smell)
2. Imagines a terrifying monster! (Creatively and beautifully illustrated)
3. Bravely investigates (And discovers it was just something ordinary after all.)

This book features:

• A simple rhyming structure that's fun and easy to read aloud.
• Stunning, full-page illustrations that captivate readers young and old.
• An empowering message of bravery, imagination, and the realisation that not everything is as scary as it may seem.
• A chance for parents and carers to support kids and face their fears together.

Perfect for:
