Khalid Anwar is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science, Engineering, and Technology at Bennett University, Greater Noida, India. He has completed his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, India. His research interests include Recommender Systems, Sentiment Analysis, Sports Analytics, Fuzzy, Neutrosophy, and Machine Learning. He has published papers in Journals, Books, and Conferences of international repute. His teaching interests are Database Management Systems, Operating Systems, Data Structures and Algorithms, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Mining, and Machine Learning. He has delivered invited talks on computer science and applications topics. He has reviewed many papers of top-ranked conferences and journals. Dr. Khalid has qualified for UGC-NET and NTA NET in Computer Science (National-Level University Teaching eligibility exams in India). He is the recipient of Merit-Cum Means and University Merit Scholarships during MCA. He was also awarded the Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF) by the Government of India during his Ph.D. Besides teaching, he supervises UG, PG, and PhD students in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and related areas.
Aasim Zafar is a Professor at the Computer Science Department, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. He holds a Master's in Computer Science and Applications and obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. His research areas and special interests include Mobile Ad hoc and Sensor Networks, Image Processing and Video Analytics, Information Retrieval, E-Systems, e-Security, Virtual Learning Environment, Neuro-Fuzzy and Soft Computing, and Software Engineering. His areas of teaching interest include Computer Networks, Network Security, Software Engineering, E-Systems, Database Management Systems and Computer Programming. He has presented many papers at national and International Conferences and published several research papers in journals of international repute.
Prof. Zafar has more than 27 years of teaching and research experience at both the national and international levels. He has served as Co-PI on the NMEICT-EdRP project, funded by MHRD, Govt. of India, which was implemented in a consortium mode, with AMU as one of the partner institutions (with a share of Rs 1.2 crore) and IIT Kanpur as the Coordinating Institute. AMU successfully contributed two major outcomes to this project: a cloud-based multilingual and multi-institutional Library Management System (LibMS) and an Election Management System (EMS). During his 5-year international teaching assignment at King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, he has executed three research projects: two DSR-funded (SR 50,000 each) as PI and one funded by KACST (SR 2 Million) as Co-PI. He was awarded with “Excellence in Teaching Award” at KAU, Jeddah.
Besides teaching and research, Prof. Zafar has extensive administrative experience and is actively involved in the university's developmental work in various capacities. He is presently Registrar at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He also served as Chairman/HoD of the Department of Computer Science, AMU, Director, CIQA, CDOE, AMU, Coordinator of IGNOU Study Center of AMU, Convener of University Website Committee, Convener of Digital Monitoring Cell, UGC SWAYAM Coordinator, and member of various high powered committee constitute by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of AMU. He has immensely contributed in ICT Infrastructure Development of the University. At KAU, Prof. Zafar successfully led the Academic Accreditation Unit of FCIT, KAU in the capacity of Director to achieve ABET (American Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology) accreditation.
Prof. Zafar has been actively working in the area of e-Learning and utilizing Open Source ICT Tools and Technologies in Research, Teaching & Learning and Student Evaluation since 1995, both at the Graduate and Post Graduate levels. He has served CDOE and AMU as Coordinator of e-Learning Programs. He has expertise in Educational Technologies and contributed to spreading the culture of ICT-enabled Pedagogy among teachers of HEIs through various workshops, orientations, training, and capacity building programs. He has also organized various webinars, workshops, and training programs on e-Content Development and ICT-related topics.
Prof. Zafar is a valuable resource person and delivered skill based technical sessions/lectures across the country for Faculty Development Programmes [FDP], Faculty Induction Programmes [FIP], Refresher Courses and Orientation Programmes at UGC HRDCs and different Universities in India on e-Learning, SWAYAM MOOCs, e-Content Development, Capacity building for blended learning, Educational Technologies for Online Teaching and Learning, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and e-Governance, etc. He has trained over 5000 faculty members belonging to various universities/colleges across the country for Online Teaching and Learning during COVID-19 pandemic since March 2020.

Prior to that, he worked as an Assistant Professor at SCSET, Bennett University, Greater Noida, and at the Interdisciplinary Center for Artificial Intelligence, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. Also, he worked as an Assistant Professor under the TEQIP-III, NPIU, GoI in the Computer Science & Engineering Department at the Government Engineering College, Bharatpur, Rajasthan, for 3 years. Dr. Wasid received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. He has more than seven years of teaching experience and ten years of research experience. He has published several articles in International Journals, Conferences, and Book Chapters which are indexed in reputed indexing bodies like SCI, SCIE, WoS, Scopus. He has also co-edited two books. He has served on review boards for more than 20 reputed international journals and many national and international conferences. He has organized many conferences /workshops/hackathons as a coordinator, and delivered many talks as an invited speaker.
Dr. Wasid has qualified for national-level exams in Computer Science, like UGC-NET and GATE. He has been granted with four fully funded research projects by MHRD, NPIU, GoI and he has completed all of them in the capacity of Investigator and Co-investigator. His current areas of research are Web Personalization, Machine Learning, and Computational Web Intelligence.
