They couldn't deny it: it was a calling from God to leave their lives in America and become missionaries in Belgian Congo. A loving tribute to her parents, Margie recalls that her parents took on many duties as missionaries, not just in evangelizing but also in being amateur dentists, mechanics, builders, etc. However, their adventures allowed the family to get out of their comfort zone and become invested in the people of Belgian Congo. They witnessed God's protection from harm, God answering prayer and God's re-confirming His calling for them.
