Fake dating my firefighter best friend was supposed to solve my holiday problem-not ignite a new one.
Getting dumped in front of the entire town at the Holly Jolly Festival tree lighting was not on my Christmas bingo card. Neither was showing up to my family's annual cabin week single... especially when my parents were expecting Dr. Perfect.
Instead... I arrive with Mason Carter.
My best friend. Mount Holly's hottest firefighter. And the last man I should be sharing a bed with for a week.
When Mason hears about my situation, he volunteers to be my fake boyfriend-apparently rescuing damsels in distress isn't limited to burning buildings.
Pretending to date my best friend should be easy. Smile for my parents. Cuddle next to the fire. Kiss under the mistletoe.
Except Mason doesn't pretend halfway.
He touches me like I'm the only person that matters.
Looks at me like nothing else exists.
And kisses me like he's been waiting years.
Waking up next to him every morning makes everything-harder.
The only thing more complicated than fake dating your best friend...
Is realizing you might actually be in love with him.
