Six time jumping, shape shifting, dimension hopping immortals were created by two of the First People to help maintain balance in all time and dimensions between chaos and order. Their only problem is limited memories. Fortunately, the immortals are focused enough on the present that this does not cause them too much of a problem. Although, it does sometimes leave them wondering.
