Notă biografică

Amit Aherwar is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Madhav Institute of Technology & Science, India. With over twelve years of experience in teaching and research, he specializes in tribology, biomaterials, surface characterization, multi-material and advanced composites, sustainable materials, and multi-criteria optimization. He has published more than 75 research papers in peer-reviewed and indexed journals, presented his work at numerous national and international conferences, and has edited two books. Dr. Aherwar is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and serves as a reviewer for various reputed journals. Binnur Sagbas is the Head of Surface Technologies Laboratory and the coordinator of the YTU-Additive Manufacturing Research group at Yildiz Technical University, Turkey. Her research focuses on additive manufacturing of orthopedic prosthesis, surface post processing, bioactive coatings, biocorrosion and bio tribology. Dr. Sagbas has conducted over 20 scientific projects and has written more than 35 scientific papers and 8 book chapters. She is an editorial board member of the International Journal of 3D Printing Technologies and Digital Industry and Advanced Manufacturing Research. She served as the chair of the 7th International Congress on 3D Printing Technologies and Digital Industry in 2023 and is currently the board member of the Turkish Additive Manufacturing Association.Savas Dilibal is the Head of Mechatronics Engineering Department and Director of Robot Technology Research and Application Centre at the Istanbul Gedik University, Türkiye. He holds a PhD in Materials Engineering from Yildiz Technical University with postdoctoral experience at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. Dr Dilibal previously served as adjunct faculty at University of Akron and contributed to a NASA-funded shape memory alloy research projects.
