This poetry collection gathers two hundred poems written over a span of more than thirty years. However, most of the poems were written in China decades ago but were only compiled into this book recently. The author attended university in the 1980s, an era that saw a flourishing of campus poets in China. Like her peers, the author once devoted herself wholeheartedly to reading and writing, pouring self-awareness and life insights into her poems.
