Skydance

First of a trilogy, "SkyDance" follows Ezekiel, who is seeking out a meager existence in a decadent and depraved future society. The alien Etharchs preside over a divided Earth, lavishing the elite Echelon with every indulgence while keeping a tight rein on the rest of humanity.

In this dark, totalitarian world, even Zeke's mate has been chosen for him with the Skry, a genetic marker given at birth to each human that's activated to call out for its duplicate at the age of thirteen. But at thirty, Zeke's hasn't awakened yet. Despite everything, he hasn't given up hope for his future.

Meanwhile, in a part of the city where Ezekiel will never be allowed, the beautiful Serenity is contemplating the myth of the dancing souls...
