SkillOps for Azure AI Agents
Autor Renaldi Gondosubrotoen Limba Engleză Paperback – 13 apr 2027
Through real-world Azure scenarios, the book shows you how to create and manage reusable skills for deployment reviews, architecture validation, infrastructure generation, cost optimization, secure configuration checks, incident triage, Azure Monitor investigations, Azure AI Search workflows, and AI Foundry operations. You'll learn how Azure Agent Skills, MCP servers, and Microsoft Foundry fit together, how to design high-quality skill instructions and internal skill libraries, and how to evaluate whether skills genuinely improve agent behavior. Along the way, the book provides practical guidance on testing, versioning, governance, and enterprise rollout strategies.
By the end of the book, you'll understand how to build a scalable SkillOps practice that enables safe, repeatable, and high-quality AI-assisted engineering across real Azure organizations.
What You Will Learn:
- Design reusable Azure agent skills that package cloud engineering knowledge, workflows, guardrails, and decision logic
- Connect skill-guided workflows with Azure MCP Server, Foundry MCP Server, coding assistants, and Microsoft Foundry where appropriate
- Build internal skill libraries for deployment reviews, diagnostics, cost optimization, architecture validation, AI workflows, and secure configuration
- Test, review, version, publish, and govern agent skills as maintainable engineering assets
- Roll out SkillOps practices across Azure engineering teams without creating unmanaged AI-assisted cloud operations
Azure developers, cloud engineers, platform engineers, DevOps engineers, AI engineers, solution architects, and technical leads who are already experimenting with AI coding assistants or agentic development tools and want to make that usage more repeatable, governed, and ready for production environments
