All three sisters live in Washington, D.C., but their lives couldn't be more different. Beverly, the baby at 29, is successful, reluctantly single, and perennially disappointed. During the story she will find and lose more men than she'd like to admit. Charmaine, six years older, is struggling to support her son and deadbeathusband. Still, every time she kicks him out, she lets him back in. Evelyn, 37, is educated and ambitious with a house in the suburbs, two great kids, and a husband--who just may be cheating on her.
