Simply Scripture for Lent and Easter

Colleen Reiss Vermeulen is cofounder of catholicbiblicalschool.org and a teacher and director with the Catholic Biblical School of Michigan, an adult faith formation ministry.

After receiving her undergraduate degree from Cornell University, Vermeulen served on active duty in the US Army. She earned master of divinity and master of nonprofit administration degrees from the University of Notre Dame.

A contributing writer to the Living the Word Catholic Women's Bible, Colleen Vermeulen has taught children and adults the Bible for many years and served in parish catechetical, young adult, music, and evangelization ministries.

An officer in the US Army Reserve, she lives with her family in southeastern Michigan.

Sarah Christmyer is a Catholic writer, speaker, and adjunct faculty member at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is the codeveloper and founding editor of The Great Adventure Catholic Bible study program, where she served as director from 2010 to 2013. Christmyer is the general editor of the Living the Word Catholic Women's Bible from Ave Maria Press.
