Short Poems is a collection of poetry inspired by the personal, unique, and meaningful journeys of the author's life, spanning many years-from young adulthood to midlife, marriage, and parenthood.
This book features 200 modern poems exploring diverse themes, including love, reflection, travel, faith, nature, humanity, and the people and moments that shape us.
The selected poems in this collection offer something for everyone. Each poem is fewer than 20 lines and explores relatable aspects of life's everyday, authentic experiences-the thoughts, emotions, relationships, places, and chapters of life that come and go so quickly.
Through these brief poems, the ordinary becomes an opportunity for meaningful reflection and discovery.
Short Poems is meant to be picked up, read, and returned to whenever a few quiet moments are available. They are short enough to read quickly, yet perhaps meaningful enough to stay with you long after the page is turned and the book is closed.
