A rare glimpse into entire, private worlds [...] It's unputdownable. I found it much more interesting than some of the novels on the current Booker shortlist. Shopping Lists provides a reminder of a world that was [...] Extraordinary.
Shopping Lists is a poignant record of a dying form.
Captures everything from the endearing [...] to the smart.
This is a goldmine of information, offering a humbling and humane insight into everyday life.
