Anthropogenic pollution is the most important among the problems due to human-nature interactions. Pollution causing the loss of water quality of aquatic ecosystems has stimulated to develop such studies which can reveal causes and mechanisms of the loss of surface water quality. The important sources of water pollution are domestic wastes, industrial effluents, and agricultural wastes. Other sources include oil spills, atmospheric deposition, marine dumping, radioactive waste, global warming, and eutrophication. Among these, domestic waste (domestic sewage) and industrial waste generate maximum pollutants, which make their way to groundwater and surface water bodies. The existence of water resources and the applying of efficient solutions in the process of their aimed use and conservation in the earth have vital role for human normal activity and the maintenance of the ecological balance of the environment. Water is reward of nature which is irreplaceable natural resource for humanity existence.
