At Shining Dawn Academy, Alex Ryden, Boaz Solen, and Naioshi Jericho are supposed to learn how to become heroes. Instead, they find each other. Alex is the son of a powerful lord and desperate to prove he is more than the name he carries. Boaz is all reckless charm and constant jokes, hiding fears he would rather no one see. Naioshi is disciplined, guarded, and determined. They have nothing in common, except the growing feeling that Shining Dawn is changing all of them faster than they are ready for.
