A survivor of domestic abuse, Terri Wheeler, 37, is on her second marriage to gentle but boring husband Pete. She's just going through the motions until one night she meets a handsome stranger in the supermarket. They embark on an affair and soon Terri finds herself plotting to do away with Pete for his life insurance money. She is no stranger to domestic murder - nor is she a stranger to maniacal driving.
