Notă biografică

Amani Thomas-Yusuf studied biology in college and worked as a technician in cell biology at Harvard University before transitioning into elementary education. She is a teacher with nearly thirty years of experience teaching science and planning lessons for young children in schools, summer science enrichment programs, and homeschools. Amani loves to write songs, poems, and stories, and uses her creativity in her lesson planning and explorations with kids. She lives in Boston, USA with her family.

Ana Matsusaki is an artist, illustrator, and educator born in São Paulo and based in Curitiba, Brazil. She has illustrated more than forty picture books and authored two of her own, and her work has been featured in exhibitions in Brazil, Italy, Mexico, and Slovakia. Exploring analogue techniques such as stamps, collage and ink, she is drawn to collective creative processes and the gestures that shape them.
