Annie defeated Cyan once. She still has nightmares about him, but at least she could rest assured that she would never have to face him again...until the dragons brought him back. He is innocent. He bears no trace of his power, and as long as it stays that way, she can't kill him--not without tainting her heart and bringing corruption to the Caves. All Annie can do is watch, and wait. She can feel darkness rising in Luria again, particularly in the unclaimed lands, and in her heart, she knows that it's Cyan. When he rises to power again, will she and Draken be enough to stop him?
